O'Kallaghan's — Restaurant in Rouen

An Irish pub without Irish people, O'Kallaghan's is a great place for a drink or two with friends. The beers on tap are pretty good and varied and the patrons are also generally on the nicer side. As the legend goes, you can walk into an Irish pub and ask for the eggs in vinegar. However, I don't think they have these potentially traumatizing ova lying around (I didn't ask but I'm pretty sure nonetheless). We have been there two times during our roadtrip arround France. The Bar is large,looks clean, the server and Bar Keeper are friendly and they speak English! We have been in a lot of bars but this bar was the only one where everybody speaks English. Negativ: during the two days wasn't any soap and nothing to dry the hands on the men washroom. This is not an Irish pup near impossible to get service. There was not an Irish person in sight and when asked to change the channel to an Irish sport at first they said they do not have it. I asked a French friend to ask and the staff reluctantly agreed to put in on a tiny corner TV and loads other Tv's showing non Irish sports.
