L'amuse Bouche — Restaurant in Sélestat-Erstein

We visited in the time between 14:00-16:00 by conincident as most retaurants were closed during that time. We are so glad the were. Otherwise we would not have found this little gem.

The owner ist very nice and the finger food was amazing.

There was a guitar standing in the corner and my son was allowed to play a little. Then the host himself played some songs and we even sang together.

He is an amazingly good guitar player (and I am a terrible singer) and we had a lot of fun. The atmosphere is truly special and I can not recommend this place enough.

If we ever are nearby again we will go again.

Arrived at 20:30 and it took 20min for the wait staff to even notice our group of 3 despite it being a slow night. We were asked if we had reservations (we didn't) and then were abandoned again. No info if that was the issue or if we were going to be served. Decided to leave after 30min of no service feeling hungry...

Excellent wines, excellent tapas. This is a cozy place with many locals and occasional tourists. The proprietor loves wine and has a great selection. The chef speaks excellent English. They had live music while I was there, making this really a standout place, and a sweet desert to my brief visit...
