A real culinary 🍽 gem 💎 of the Vosges mountains.

Location 📍: located inside the Hotel Beau Rivage, this restaurant opens its doors to everyone, but the majority of clients are the guests of the hotel. So I think it would be recommended to book🕖 a table in advance if you want to have dinner there. We only booked a table at the reception of the hotel, where the girls were kind to ask us if we plan to have dinner there.🤩

The staff 👧: they were always smiling, friendly, discrete, and very respectful. 👏👍⭐️🥰

The setting 🛋: The interior is warm, cozy, classic, elegant, and gives you a sense of luxury combined with a sense of home🏡. I felt pampered and well treated. 🥰👏

The service 🛎: The time from arriving until leaving (for dinner) is approximately 2 hours. You will receive an a la mousse bouche 🧈before your food is being served. Every evening, it was a different type, with different flavors. The drinks 🍷🍹🫙are quickly served, even during the meal.🍽

The food 🍴: One of the few places I have tried, where the food has flavors and an amazing taste. It was an absolute surprise to see a food that not only looks good but tastes heavenly🌈. I was amazed by the combination of flavors and how well they mix together.🥰👏🤩👍 I don't think that I could find the right words to praise enough the food.

⁉️ The only minus I could find is the lack of vegetables in the dishes, but maybe this is what gives the good taste and the charm of their food.😍🤗 Another thing is the fact that the dinner starts at 19:00 and ends at 21:00, which makes the 3 meal course a little bit too heavy🥹... and i really felt sad to eat this amazing food and go to bed in 1h 30m. But you can make exceptions during vacations🤩.

I do recommend this restaurant in the Vosges. You will not regret...

🍽️ Un dîner en amoureux parfait au bord du lac ! Lors de notre week-end de Pâques en amoureux à Gérardmer, nous avons eu le plaisir de dîner au restaurant Côté Lac… et quelle belle découverte ! Le cadre est tout simplement sublime, avec une vue imprenable sur le lac, surtout au coucher du soleil — un vrai décor de carte postale. L’ambiance est à la fois élégante et chaleureuse, idéale pour un moment à deux. Côté assiette, tout était délicieux : des plats raffinés, bien présentés, et pleins de saveurs. Mention spéciale au sandre parfaitement cuisiné et au nougat Plombières au dessert qui a clôturé le repas en beauté. Le service a également été irréprochable : professionnel, attentionné, tout en restant discret. On sent que l’équipe aime ce qu’elle fait et ça fait toute la différence. Nous sommes venus uniquement prendre un apéro en terrasse il était 19 h, la terrasse était vide. Un écriteau précisait accès libre même pour les non résidents. Devant notre insistance,Le serveur nous a proposé une table sans aucune vue sur le lac, surpris et déçus. Nous lui avons demandé une autre table. Impossible tout était réservé pour le dîner, à défaut il nous a indiqué une table de 8 places en bout de terrasse. Nous n’étions que deux.après 25 mn d’attente nous avons pu déguster une coupe de champagne correcte et un demi verre de vin, la bouteille était vide, le serveur n’est jamais revenu faire l’appoint.
