My wife and I came to Marigot for the sole purpose of stopping in La Casa del Habano for cuban cigars. As we walked up to the shop the steel gate was down and a for sale sign near the store. To say my heart dropped to the bottom of my feet would be an understatement. We walked away and saw Ginette outside of her restaurant and I asked her if La Casa del Habano was permanently closed. She said no and that she new Carole, the owner, and would call for me to see when Carole would return. She made several calls until she finally reached Carole. Ginette offered us to come in her restaurant and wait for Carole to reopen her store. During our cruise, I developed a nasty cough, no not covid, and Ginette offered me this concoction of spices in a drink she uses for coughs. Drank the secret mixture plus two glasses of wine and it worked! After our shopping spree in La Casa del Habano we returned to thank Ginette for all of her help and she gave me a bottle of her secret potion. Ginette is one of the kindest most authentic individuals I have ever met. She loves life and helping people. If you're in Marigot please stop in her restaurant. The world needs more people...
