Had a horrible experience eating here on holiday. Would advise to AVOID at all costs!
Was excited to try the truffle pasta, which at âŹ23 was pricey but well worth that price tag when cooked properly...but unfortunately this was far from the case at Cucina des Evans.
The pasta was completely tastless and after giving feedback to the manager about the inedible plate, was hoping to be offered an alternative meal, an apology or a refund on this dish however recieved none of the above. Instead we were subjected to a rude, defensive and unprofessional display from the Manager who accused us of having no understanding of taste and said nobody else complained.
He made a show in front of other patrons and left us feeling embarassed and angry. We were told we could have a free limoncello (which was also horrible!) and made to pay the entire bill despite not having been able to eat the food as so disgusting.
The attitude and service was appalling, consistent with the quality of the food.
All we wanted was respect and fair treatment and to enjoy our meal out but none of this is possible at this restaurant - my advice is to avoid, avoid,...
   Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at this fabulous Italian restaurant, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The setting is perfect right across from the beach, offering a relaxed and scenic atmosphere that adds to the charm of the experience.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Their attentiveness and warmth really stood out and added to the overall enjoyment of the evening.
I canât recommend the spaghetti carbonara enough rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. It's without a doubt one of the best meals I've had in France. Every bite was packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. If you're a fan of Italian cuisine, this dish is a must try.

Accueil dĂ©plorable (la femme qui accueille et place les clients manque vraiment d'amabilitĂ©, elle est froide et prend les gens de haut). Heureusement que les serveurs qui se sont prĂ©sentĂ©s Ă notre table par la suite ont fait preuve d'amabilitĂ© et nous ont redonnĂ© un peu le sourire. Service rapide des plats (ça c'est bien) mais c'est cher pour ce qu'on a dans l'assiette, franchement ... nous avons choisi 3 plats de pĂątes diffĂ©rents : un spaghetti saumon, un spaghetti aux gambas, un spaghetti aux palourdes. Les plats sont arrivĂ©s bien chaud, mais les assaisonnements n'allaient pas du tout ... manque de saveur et surtout manque de sel dans les plats (Ă croire mĂȘme que les pĂątes avaient Ă©tĂ© cuites en omettant le sel dans l'eau de cuisson ?!). Bref, j'avais l'impression d'ĂȘtre au rĂ©gime sans sel. Mettre du sel dans l'assiette Ă table n'arrange rien quand la cuisine a Ă©tĂ© faite sans sel. Les assaisonnements n'Ă©taient vraiment pas au top. La quantitĂ©, par rapport au prix n'Ă©tait pas au top non plus. La seule chose qu'on a apprĂ©ciĂ©, ce sont les gambas dĂ©cortiquĂ©s qui garnissaient l'un de ces plats de pĂątes. Contrairement Ă la cuisine, l'addition Ă©tait salĂ©e par contre car nous avons payĂ© 63,50 euros pour seulement 3 plats de pĂątes (pĂątes aux palourdes 25 euros, pĂątes aux gambas 21,50 euros, pĂątes au saumon 17 euros).
