Creperie Lou Dotze — Restaurant in Sarlat-la-Canéda

After making the mistake to stop at this joint, we were sat at the same time as a couple of other tables who were served straight away, but it took another half an hour for the waitress to take our drinks order, which eventually arrived another twenty minutes later, then another twenty minutes for our crepe order to be taken.

Now clocking in at well over an hour since we sat down, our drinks had long been consumed and the remnants left to the mercy of a very persistent wasp, our elusive waitress returned to ask if we’d finished when we hadn’t even received our crepes! She looked confused and walked off, then suddenly they appeared with not even a whiff of an apology.

After such long anticipation and losing the will to live, the small and pathetic excuse of a lemon and sugar crepe was consumed within seconds of it arriving and at this point I didn’t even care nor notice what it tasted like.

Clearly with so much passing trade they’re past the point of caring how customers are treated.

I read the reviews of this place and was so excited to try the crepes here! Sure enough, the crepes were really good, a solid 4/5! However, the service lady (probably the most senior waitress) was extremely rude. She kept giving us stares, and came up to us (before we even ordered), and told us we had to wait our turn to order and we are not the only ones here. We did not even once rush her. It completely ruined our experience there!

Such backward service staff should not hang around and tarnish the reputation of a good...

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Service was great. Prices are reasonable and they do serve all day. When I look at the review numbers on this place, I am puzzled.. and I will point out lots if the reviews are from years ago. This place, for me was perfect. I also see the review process as not functioning accurately. I really believe that as far as eating establishments, 1 year of review information should be sufficient....
