A Festa — Restaurant in Sartène

I agree with the previous reviewer. The mussels were a DISASTER. I had to pick seaweed out of about 60% of them. 20% were hardly any meat.

The wine arrived when I was already halfway through the meal, and there wasn’t even a wet wipe or anything provided. Has the owner never been to another restaurant to learn how it’s done?

My wife ordered a bowl and left half of it. She wanted to try the meat, but by 7 p.m. there was no meat or tartare available.

On top of that, we got bitten by mosquitoes. We left as quickly as we could, and honestly, I don’t understand the positive reviews at all.

The food was delicious — we had the croquettes, seafood risotto, and a salad, all very tasty. The portions were a bit on the smaller side, but everything was well-prepared and flavorful.

The atmosphere was lovely, and we especially loved the beautiful table we sat at — it was brought from Bali, which made the experience feel even more special!

The service was nice and helpful. The place is ambiented in a purple light that for those coming from abroad can remind of something different but it’s nice with music. The food though was not that good and very overpriced. Gyozas and fries that were frozen and the rest of the dishes were over 20 eur and if similar, not worth it. I wouldn’t...
