Bar Plage — Restaurant in Sartène

Unimpressed- rude and unhelpful! Made a reservation the night before - you cannot book the sunbeds and you also cannot use them unless you have a lunch reservation. I called to ask about this and was told to add in the comments about sunbeds and how many people ,which I did. The evening before we went down to ask if the reservation was there as I hadn't received an email and was told by one of the team that the booking wouldn't be with her but her colleague who wasn't there but I could come in the morning. When we got there the colleague told me there was no reservation - he seemed totally disinterested and said I could make a booking for lunch now for 10euros more for 2 sunbeds than anywhere else on the beach and that we couldn't not use the umbrellas. One (perhaps the only this one) bad restaurant due to the chaotic organization on Corse. Perdonal (female manager) very chaotically moved us around - twice (after we were seated by petson). Clearly this also caused conflict between the staff- this lady- manager of the seating with other colleagues. The chaos caused some of the orders to not arrive at all. The negative review we received was answered with a response that it was a lie- but why would we do that? We are not competitors, we are troubled people. We have seen similar reviews about this restaurant (seating arrangements) from other guests, so there must be something to it..Instead of thoughtfulness from this lady, there is only arrogance visible in the responses. We arrived at 1pm and were told we only had 20min to eat as it was the busy time of the Restaurant. We aggreed and ordered 2 Caesar salads at 18euro a piece, hoping this would be a quick Lunch. After more than an hour wait in uncomfortable heat 2 small bowls arrived without any Dressing. We tried in vain to ask for some oil and vinegar and finally got up to get them ourselves. The salad was so bad, we had to leave half of it uneaten. When we tried to address the staff they just shrugged and went ahead to bill us the full amount. This is a hot contender for the worst dining experience in Corsica. I am certain if they get just a little worse they are sure to claim the title for them.
