I honestly do not understand the good reviews and I hope the collapse in food quality was just due to special circumstances. I am a fan of sushi and Japanese restaurants and I experienced many around the world but this one was fairly the most deceiving I've ever been to.

The rice was too sticky, too much vinegar and probably not fresh. We had the discovery sushi menu with 40 pieces to share, and none of them was actually was worthwhile. Even the simplest salmon avocado california was a failure.

I would have been happy to say at least that the service was nice, but the lady who "served" us was cold, impulsive, and even agressive. There was also this waiter, a young boy who was apparently nice but he was not in charge of us.

It was a Saturday night and we had to make a reservation. My friend called once and they said it is fully booked for the day. I called by mistake 10 minutes later and they made a reservation for 30 minutes later.

I must say the interior design is very nice and calm, the opposite of all the rest...

Came here with a group and will not come again. Sent an email via their website 4 days in advance to enquire about allergens but to date have still not received an answer. On the day itself, the waiter was able to speak good English. However, he took 45 min to get our orders although the place wasn’t crowded. Guests that arrived after us had their orders taken earlier and were served before us. The waiter was uncomfortable and partially unable to tell us what the food is made of and how it is made. The food was ok but we felt a lot of it was ready made and not freshly prepared. Avocado in the Sushi was very hard, rice very sticky, hardly any taste. Just after we left at 10pm the waiter couldn’t wait to close the shutters and finish for the day. Not really welcoming...

After driving all day we arrived after 9 PM in Strasbourg and were desperate for something to eat.. Shoon saved us in a delicious way. We came to the restaurant at 10 PM, too late to eat there but we were still able to order take out, which we did. The order was delivered promptly and all of it was fresh and appetisingly prepared, even in the box - I would love to go there again for a full sit-down meal because the restaurant had a relaxed vibe and everybody there seemed to be having a great time....
