Lovely, comfortable place in a quiet, convenient location with actual hospitable staff. We stayed here 2x. First time we were upgraded to an apartment room, which is in the new building. It has its own entrance in the front and back of the hotel property. It feels new and is spacious with everything you'll need. Only downsides are wifi is weaker so Chromecast is spotty and if you forget a key card, you are stuck in the parking lot. Tip: You can walk up to the garage door and it'll automatically open. 2nd time: We were in a Double room - Classic. We left both of our luggage overnight and when we came back to check-in, both were already in the room! The room though is made for 1 carry-on and a backpack because there's no walking space. We placed 1 luggage on the desk and 1 on the bench. The double room has a sticky carpet and initially smelled like cleaning vinegar. The receptionist quickly fixed the vinegar smell for us. It was quiet -- we were right above reception and had no other rooms beside us. Note: there are 3-4 steps from the elevator to get to the room above reception. Bonus during the Christmas season is the free Alsatian vin chaud at reception. Highly recommend staying here if you get the biggest rooms or have minimal luggage (in the smaller rooms).

Excellent, modern, very clean and friendly hotel in a slightly off-beat but top central location (perfect walking distance to all major Strasbourg city center sights) We very much enjoyed our stay to explore a weekend in beautiful Strasbourg and would be happy to come back to Hotel du Dragon for our next stay! The staff welcomed us very friendly (easily speaking French, English and German), even considerate welcoming our dog with a little local & natural treat! We enjoyed a very modern room, very clean, bright & spacious bath! While the rooms might not be overly large, our room had a very smart design and a nice view to the Munster. Especially loved that even a running map was provided in the room, showcasing some nice routes! As we left an item in the room, the hotel team went over and beyond getting in touch to organize the return! Thank you Hotel du Dragon team for your hospitality!

Tiny-tiny hotel, way overpriced We paid $150 for one night here, which was a joke. Pictures on booking.com are of much larger rooms. In our room, with 2 pieces of luggage and 2 winter coats we could no longer walk and had to crawl over the bed. Bathroom is probably 2/3 of a size or the room to give you an idea. There is also a useless desk and two puff stools that take up space and cannot be used in any way. I like the idea of pod hotels, but you usually pay much less for it. Also, in pod hotels you have plenty of common space (working rooms, gym, conference space, etc) - and here there was none. I have no idea why this hotel is a 4* one. It offers nothing. The next night we stayed at another place right at the Strasbourg Center and it was cheaper and much bigger. Giving it 1 extra star for cleanness and pleasant staff

Pours commencer, j’ai donc réservé via Booking.com.

We stayed in a beautifully designed Junior Suite in the attic (with sloped ceilings). The room was clean and well-furnished, featuring a spacious sofa corner, wardrobes, a desk, and additional seating options. The bed was comfortable, though a bit on the firm side for our taste.

The hotel is housed in a charming old building right next to the historic city center, and each room has its own unique character. Our room included a Nespresso machine with two capsules and a fridge stocked with drinks (for an extra charge). Unfortunately, no complimentary water was provided, which would have been a nice touch. Parking is available upon request.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

The only downside: breakfast. Unfortunately, it did not meet the same high standard as the rest of the hotel. For example, the cappuccino and milk coffee were made with powdered milk (!)—something that really should not be the case anymore. Thankfully, there was a second machine for espresso and black coffee. Some individual items, like the yogurt, were good, but the cheap cornflake mix was disappointing.

We would definitely stay here again—but...
