Stayed for a week in the lovely resort of Châtel. Discovered le Cheminee’ on our first night and returned 5 of our 7 nights for dinner and 1 lunch. Absolutely delicious food cooked by owners Glyn - the Chef and his wife Julie who runs front of house. Probably the best restaurant in Chatel. Lovely family owned and run business. Madam Patronne makes it all happen and ensures that everything runs smoothly. Food superb and representative of the region. The Paté de Foi Gras and the Grenouilles are to die for and for the Magret de Canard, I would serve time. Well chosen wine list and great atmosphere. Book to avoid disappointment. We will return regularly, this restaurant is worth every one of the 755 miles from Chichester to Chatel. Visited end...

Fabulous little restaurant. Its clear the owners care about their product and go the extra mile to keep customers coming back. The food is served in very generous portions and the quality is great for the price. Recommend ribs, Angus steak , duck breast and cajun chicken (spiceeeey!) Always busy - a good sign - so booking essential. Gets a bit cramped...
