If you’re looking for a simple meal the fish and chips are great here with large portions, we had two large pieces of fish in one meal.
However the staff really let this place down and do not allow kids and families to sit at a table under the food is purchased so little children are made to stand in line waiting until the meal is shown to the staff member. A very rude older woman was barking orders in English at us and would not let us sit where we wanted even after purchasing food and letting other children sit in the booths. I complained to the manager and she pretended it was because she did not speak very good English and children can’t sit in the other section despite seeing them in there.
I think management needs a big rethink here since the staff are very grumpy they do speak English when it suits them and act like they are forced to work at Disney, when in reality they applied for the job they wanted to do so some training needs to go on for most of the staff who have a terrible inferiority complex - odd people who want to spoil other peoples holidays should not be employed in client...
Read moreA pleasant surprise. We are used to eating in a crowded, noisy atmosphere when going to Disneyland. Today and for the first time, we decided to go to Toad Hall restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised by many things. The lack of queue is one of them. We waited around 5/10 minutes to have our order taken, at 12.40. We might just have gotten lucky that day. There is a bit of a queue outside, but once you get in, everything goes fast as the staff makes sure that a table is available for you even before you order. As there are very few options in the menu (which can be a bother for some, but worked fine for us), you get your food very fast and then get seated right away. The place is surprisingly calm, the staff was efficient and patient. Congratulations to them! That was truly a good experience and surely contributed to the overall quality of my 5 year-old godson's first time...
Read moreWe had heard that this place is good bang for your buck with the fish and chips portion for the price, and that they are good quality fish. There is not a lot of variety here besides fish and chips, so we each got one, and we could have shared one, as there are large prices of fish and a lot of fries on the bottom. However they do not really want to hand out the tarter sauce, as they are in small containers and you have to specifically ask for them and they only give you one, so be aware of that. But the other condiments are out at the pick up area for you to grab (mayo, ketchup, malt vinegar). The fish was super hot and crispy and good quality. We were definitely filled up after our meal here. Just note the hours because they close pretty early for dinner, so you will probably have to go...
