Honesty I wouldn’t go back. Disney seriously need to rethink the running of this restaurant. The queues for food are insanely long for mediocre food and there aren’t enough seats for the volume of people they have. The day I went was incredibly rainy so no one could sit outside, of course when it’s nice weather the outside seating would be incredibly helpful. If you’re in a group and not all going up together to get your food beware of sitting down! We were asked to move by a waiter because we weren’t eating food right at that moment, I explained that my partner was literally at the front of the queue now ordering but it didn’t matter and we had to stand around until my partner came back with our food literally minutes later. He said once we physically had food he would then find us a table- he didn’t. We eventually found a family leaving so we grabbed their table which they were sharing with another family. The mother was with three young children and her husband had gone to get food and she could see waiters going round to tables where people were sitting waiting for their friend or partner who were in the queue and they were being asked to move until they had food. She was really worried about finding another table as her children were tired and hungry. We put some of our pizza boxes on their side of the table so it looked like they had food so they wouldn’t be moved. Even a mother with a newborn baby was asked to get up and move. This is just ridiculous! Disney seriously need to rethink this restaurant and have another similar style/ price range elsewhere in the park to take the volume down a bit. The food isn’t very good anyway so I wouldn’t bother going back again. On a plus side the...
Read moreDecided to stop at Pizzeria Bella Notte and this is were It began. They had a sign that no strollers are allowed inside so we left the stroller outside and proceeded to the concierge. I asked for a table of 3 she said you need to order first and then take a table. I said I understand but I have a tired baby and you have many empty tables I would like to seat him first and then order as I do not want him to sit on the floor where everyone walks so, I sat my exhausted son at the table and my mum. Please take note that by the time this conversation happened I could have easily already ordered food.
I stand in the line, while my mum and son are sitting at a table and the rude waitress proceeds to walk to the kitchen and speak to a light hair/ red haired man about us I pressume and he proceeds to come to my mom and 3 year old son and starts to yell at them. I decided to stay in line while my mum communicates to him and he just becomes louder and more aggressive. I re join the conversation and he starts yelling he will call security. I said please go ahead, I haven’t stolen, broken or vandalized anything. I am just trying to seat and feed my son. He calls security and at this point I was very angry and upset and told him we will not be staying in his restaurant as I don’t want to eat in a place like this. He then proceeded to follow us, while on the phone for 10 full minutes, while leaving ‘his restaurant’ as he called it. Until the entrance of Disneyland park which made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe, where we were met with two security guards. This man followed us for 10 minutes, leaving his job over sitting at a table before ordering.
Rude. Unfriendly....
Read moreWe were very excited to try the Mickey-shaped pizza, but it was the worst regret. The service at Bella Notte was terrible. It was unbelievable how inefficient it was. The manager decided to leave only trainees at the cash registers taking orders. It took over 2 hours to order a single pizza. Here's the situation: there were previously 3 large lines. When it was my turn to be served, they separated into 6 lines (3 new ones), taking me to the end again. This happened 4 times. However, they did not increase the number of attendants. Obviously, it caused a commotion and delays. Add to the fact that everyone was a trainee, and you can imagine how bad it was.
I told the manager that I needed to try to get into the Frozen show in the other park and needed my order delivered because I had already tried FOUR times that day, but it was impossible to get into the queues, even with Easy Access. I had finally paid after 30 minutes, and he told me to wait... 10 minutes later, nothing... 20, 30, 50, 1 hour, 1.5 hours... I left my wife there and ran with my daughter in my arms to make it to the last show on time, and still, we couldn't get in. Total disappointment, as my daughter was even dressed as Anna, complete with wig and special makeup. My heart broke; I felt powerless, a feeling that I failed...
