Food was okay - definitely designed for the masses; examples being the "guacamole" and "salsa" coming in a sachet and tiny tub respectively, of which the salsa was a massive clump which covered about 1 nacho. Considering they are 3.5€ you would expect more.
The queue was the biggest issue here, after queuing extensively throughout the day for almost everything- rides which took up to 70 minutes wait per ride, drinks up to 20 minutes and literally everything else. Fuente del oro was appalling - we stood in a queue for about 30 minutes having only moved around 4 peoples worth, still very much near the back of the queue.
After then being directed by a worker that there was a separate queue for the "Menu 4", we went to queue up there, where we waited around 20 minutes for 2 very slow workers to get the food, amongst various order confusions and whatnot.
After finally reaching the front - I paid around 20 euros for a chicken fajita meal with nachos and churros on the side.
I was then directed to go to the opposite end of the restaurant to collect my fajita and rice with a token i was given by the cashier - as was expected, there was a line even for that.
10 minutes later i finally got given 3 very small fajita wraps with some peppers and onions and 3 small pieces of chicken.
This was decent in terms of the actual food - well cooked etc, just very small portions for what you pay and considering you have just waited upwards of an hour just for food
The same went for the nachos and churros.
In summary: avoid this place - long queues and extortionate prices, not to mention the fights for and significant lack of seating after having been standing...
Read moreThe queue wasn’t very long, but it was moving unbelievably slow. We waited about 40 minutes for two people. But the fun didn’t stop there! I wanted to get Meal 2, with the beef enchilada, but as I’m vegetarian we asked for no beef. He hesitated before saying that it was not possible because it’s already cooked like that. I had to go for the loaded fries, the ONLY vegetarian option, and they were disgusting. Soggy with nacho cheese and guacamole with beans thrown in. Now is the best part. As there were a handful of tables inside and outside, and they were of course all taken, we asked for takeaway and he gave us a bag and packed our food into takeaway boxes. He was very nice. We take the bag away and find a nice bench to sit, and when we open the bag we find that we only had one salad and one churros, and both meals come with a side and a dessert. He also didn’t even add them to the receipt. (Language barrier was not a problem, as my friend is French). So my friend walks all the way back to get the salad and churros, thankfully we were not charged. Then, the grand finale: my friend opens her box and finds rice. Just rice. The side of rice, and an empty space where the enchilada was supposed to be. So she goes back again, to the same employee, and gets the enchilada. It wasn’t very good, and the rice was soggy. The salad dressing tasted like plain oil, and my friend only managed two bites. The coke was watered down. The churros were decent though.
In short: Please don’t.
P.S. I dropped my salad on the floor. It was probably better that way. We later had popcorn for dinner instead....
