Zeytin Café Mezze Grill — Restaurant in Torcy

During my visit to Disneyland Paris, I was delighted to discover Zeytin, a rare gem offering Halal meat and poultry. In a city where the concept of Halal food is not widely understood, finding this establishment was truly fortunate. We sampled three dishes, each of which was delicious, and everyone in my party enjoyed the food immensely. However, I must concur with other visitors that the pricing is rather high considering the portion sizes.

Unfortunately, the customer service left much to be desired. The lady, the South Asian gentleman, and the elderly man all demonstrated a significant need for customer service training. The elderly man, in particular, struggled to explain the menu options. In contrast, the gentleman wearing glasses was exceptionally hospitable and took the time to explain the menu, which I greatly appreciated. However, the general arrogance I have encountered in France, exemplified by the behaviour of some French people, continues to mar my overall experience. It is truly a shame.

The food did take a while to be served, but it both looked and tasted excellent upon arrival—thank you!

We visited Zeytin Cafe on our last evening in Paris.

The food here is amazing. We tried the Chicken Kebab meal and Falafel meal.

The food was cooked to perfection, with high-quality ingredients and great pride.

Everything is cooked from fresh, and this takes a little more time, but it is worth the wait.

I'm not normally a fan of falafel, but these are amazingly fresh here. The fries were freshly prepared and home cooked (definitely not cheap frozen fries)

I spoke briefly to the gentleman who served me and found he was the owner. His work ethic and efficency are incredible. He clearly is very passionate about what he does and is not afraid of hard work.

Some of the lower score reviews on here are disappointing and certainly do not reflect my families experience. Most negatives seem to be related to cultural differences and expectations.

I would happily recommend this restaurant for amazing, simple, and quality food with great service.

After a long day at Disneyland Paris, my wife, our two young boys, and I were looking for a nice halal spot to unwind and enjoy a good meal — and we’re so glad we found Zeytin Café Mezze Grill!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and family-friendly. The staff were kind and attentive, and the service was quick without feeling rushed.

The food was absolutely fantastic — fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with care. Everything we tried tasted homemade and authentic. The mezze selection was a real highlight, and the grilled dishes were perfectly cooked. Best of all, the entire menu is halal, which gave us peace of mind while dining with our family.
