L'Air du Temps — Restaurant in Toulon

We had dinner at L'Air du Temps in Toulon and there were definitely some highlights. The location is lovely. Sitting outside by the harbour, overlooking the boats, created a really relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly and welcoming, which made for a nice start to the evening.

The meal began well with a delicious starter, and my husband absolutely loved his garlic mussels, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, my main course was a real letdown. I ordered the wok noodles with chicken and vegetables, and it was honestly one of the worst dishes I've had in a long time. As shown in the photo, it looked and tasted like everything had been boiled together in one pot, with no seasoning or flavour. The chicken was dry, and the whole dish was bland. I couldn’t eat it, and disappointing too that no one asked why I had barely touched it.

A really lovely restaurant with good food and reasonable prices for the location. The Cafe Gourmand was incredible and always varied each time we ate here. Expect to pay around €8 for your Beer, but that is to be expected considering the location, right on the marina with views out into the harbour. They have a variety of dishes, seafood, the duck was particularly good, and in their Camembert burger they use half a wheel of Camembert for a truly indulgent...

Hier soir, nous sommes revenu comme nous avions promis et là.. Lou, notre serveuse, au top du top! ravissante, aimable, courtoise, souriante et avenante, bref encore un plaisir de dîner ce soir malgres le monde..car le repas et le service fut un agréable moment... rare vous préviens t'on du temps d'attente prévu pour la cuisson du plat demandé... ce qui nous a permis de prendre tranquillement notre apéritif... alors qu'ailleurs parfois on vous amène le plat juste après... sans pouvoir profiter...

J'avais pris une andouillette... un délice, présentée sur une ardoise... fritte, salade, petit pot de sauce moutarde en plus... et le hamburger de mon épouse... une tuerie!!! A oui faut le dire... viande tendre... cuite beurre je pense... La fille du patron ce jour derrière le bar... toujours le sourire malgré mes plaisanteries.... On se rends content que les origines de la famille sont du nord ouest de la France, que c'est un resto familial avec un super décor oû on s'y sent bien.... bref... on a trouvé réellement notre resto apres en avoir fait plusieurs sur le port de Toulon!
