Amazing fish restaurant in a lovely square in Toulon. The staff were incredibly attentive, especially Alexandre who took the time to sit with us at the end of the meal and go through places to see in Toulon and a bit of its history. The fish was incredibly fresh and all sourced from the fish shop across the square with the same name. We had the planche a la mer to start which was sublime. Mussels in pistou were particularly good. Would come back to Toulon again just for this restaurant. Reasonably priced, and tried whelks for the first time which were not for me! However, if you didn’t want something in your dish, you could easily switch it out and it wasn’t a problem for the staff. 10/10...

FR. Nous avons dîné à La Poissonnerie et ce fut une expérience exceptionnelle du début à la fin. Dès la réservation par téléphone, nous avons été accueillis avec une grande gentillesse et un vrai sens de l’hospitalité. Le poisson était d’une fraîcheur remarquable, parfaitement cuisiné, avec des saveurs délicates qui respectent le produit. Chaque plat reflétait le savoir-faire et la passion de ceux qui le préparent. Même en cuisine, l’équipe s’est montrée professionnelle et chaleureuse. Nous avons eu la chance de manger à l’extérieur, sur une jolie petite place ombragée par des oliviers, dans une ambiance calme et agréable, parfaite pour savourer un bon repas en toute détente. Le personnel de salle a été accueillant, souriant, attentionné et très aimable tout au long du service. Une adresse que nous recommandons les yeux fermés à tous les amateurs de bon poisson, bien préparé, dans un cadre charmant et convivial. Petit conseil: perfectible le service du vin.

IT. Abbiamo cenato a La Poissonnerie e l’esperienza è stata eccezionale dall’inizio alla fine. Già al momento della prenotazione telefonica siamo stati accolti con grande gentilezza e autentico senso dell’ospitalità. Il pesce era freschissimo, cucinato alla perfezione, con sapori delicati che valorizzano la materia prima. Ogni piatto rifletteva la competenza e la passione di chi lo ha preparato. Anche chi lavorava in cucina si è dimostrato professionale e cordiale. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di mangiare all’aperto, in una bella piazza ombreggiata da alberi di ulivo, in un’atmosfera tranquilla e piacevole, perfetta per gustare un buon pasto in totale relax. Il personale di sala è stato accogliente, sorridente, premuroso e molto gentile per tutta la durata del servizio.
