Came here for my last meal in Toulouse before heading out. The drink I got was really good but a little too sweet for my taste. If you like sweet refreshing cocktails, it was definitely a good choice. The server was helpful with choosing a wine based off what type of wine I like. I originally got the duck and was curious about the leek. I should have gotten the leek first since it is cold and I would have liked that with the cocktail a bit more. It is delicious if you like leeks though! My duck was perfectly cooked. I enjoyed the meal very much. Delicious food - had the chicken “katsu” style, the Michelin chef poireaux salad (so tasty) and the raviole de truffe et morille (my favourite!). We had no reservations and though we would have liked a seat on the terrasse they were able to accommodate us at the bar seating, which allowed us to chat with the friendly (and busy!) barmaid and observe the chefs doing their magic in the open kitchen. The service was friendly and efficient, we got our food and drinks very quickly. Although the restaurant was super busy the staff attitude (including the interaction amongst each other) was always relaxed and pleasant. First the positive. The food and atmosphere was good. Be careful with the portions of the tapas because they are very large. Most tapas were more like full meals. Now the negative. In the middle of our dining we noticed a snail in one of our dishes and notified our waitress. At first she was very apologetic and then toik the dish back to the kitchen. When she returned she said nothing and continued with our service as if nothing happened. The restaurant never offered any compensation for finding a snail in our meal. I am giving a bad rating not because there was a live snail in our dish, but because abuse of the reaction of the restaurant. I would not recommend this...
