Au chien qui fume — Restaurant in Versailles

Actually, it wasn't in my plans to go to that restaurant but I was carried by the wind and I was very pleased being there😄 for the service is really great and the place is just so neat and not noisy with a good presentation both on the tables and in the restrooms 👌They're very friendly, professional and welcoming. I ordered a plate of entrecôte and it was exactly done as desired though the fries weren't that home-made (but was precised as home-made fries on their menu). Aside from that, I liked their white wine chardonnay ☺️ and their prices both for meals and drinks 🍸. It was a nice experience though neither planned nor any reservation made🥰 I highly recommend this restaurant😇 and if I had another opportunity to go there...

This restaurant was the perfect place to head to after a tour of the Versailles Palace. It was a short and very scenic walk from the palace. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is the most perfect french vibe. Most of all, the service was exemplary. Our waitress Natalia made this our most enjoyable experience at a restaurant in Paris/Versailles. We went during the heat wave and were desperate for some iced water, she made sure we were comfortable and provided us with everything we needed while being warm and friendly throughout our lunch. The food came in a timely manner and it is absolutely worth. Must haves are the burger and the octopus! My family and I really loved this place...

I still think about this meal often. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection — the kind of perfection that makes you stare at your plate in disbelief. I didn’t even fully know what I ordered, something with truffle fat on top that immediately melted into the meat and then melted in my mouth, and possibly also melted a small part of my brain.

Tried escargot for the first time — bizarre little creatures, but beautifully done. The wine was excellent, the vibe low-key surreal.

I wanted dessert, but my friends insisted we return to Paris. I haven’t forgiven them. I will return, hungrier and more...
