Essaouira — Restaurant in Versailles

Very slow service. We've seen several tables with guests arriving after us being served before. I appreciate we took a small starter sharing their fried (soaked) pastels, but that doesn't justify one hour wait for a veal tajine and a couscous a la Maison.

At the end the taste was ok, and being not an expert of Moroccan cuisine I can't say more than I was in fact expecting something different from my couscous. My wife's tajine, served in the clay dish was instead quite delicious.

The toilet is very small, shared with the staff and with a very slippery floor tiling. No paper for soaking...

We tried this authentic Moroccan restaurant over lunch . We sat on their outside terrace in the sun . Presentation is very authentic in traditional couscous pot for the tajjine . Portions are full fullfilling. The spices are very flavorful in the dishes u get to add the spicy harissa on the side . The lamb couscous are very juicy and tender perfectly cooked . Honestly I love the food here, but I’m giving one star because of the attitude of the staffs and manager. I went here several times with my office friends, they welcomed us very well. But when I went all alone, I was sent off stating they don’t severe food for one person. Which is sick. How can you tell ur customers that you have to come in group to eat food here. A customer is a customer. So here after I have decided not to go to this place and also recommended my friends also not to host any office...
