L’atelier (Artisan Crêpier) — Restaurant in Versailles

Usually, we go with the children because we appreciate their crepes but there, the person who installs the new clients simply kicked us out. Upon arriving this evening, even though there were few people and empty tables, she told us to wait standing until she finishes charging the machines, then getting orders and payment from customers. After about fifteen minutes, we ask her again if we can sit down, she tells us to wait until she can do it herself and leaves toward the back. Five minutes later, she returns and then asks us to take a table. We make the remark that we could have sat down alone from the beginning and at that moment she points to the entrance and tells us that if we are not happy, we can actually leave.... here is the kind of service to expect at this restaurant, this is the level of respect they show to their clients....

We came in, requested to order, waited more than 15 minutes, the waiter came, I told him to wanted to order (I said it after 5 min we entered) and said that the person will come, he went back and forward like looking what to do and 5 min later came to take the order, I ordered and 2 min later he came telling me they did not have what I ordered, I cancelled the order and left. I had a terrible service experience and the waiter...

I was in Paris last week because of work near Versailles and my team and I decided to go to L´atelier to have lunch... It was AMAZING! One of the best decisions we have made during our stay in Paris. The food was great and the service was spectacular! What a wonderful surprise Carmen was! So kind girl that gave us some tips about the food and she was always with a big smile. We will come back...
