I visit this place anobt 3-4 time a year with a group of my friends. The price of sushi went up recently (long story short, inflation) but at the same time, they developed new menus that were surprisingly tasty to me. If you like sushi and happen to be at around Jongno area for some reason, then this would be an okay-ish option. I’m saying “okay-ish” because sushi here is not exceptionally tasty so that you have to spare your time to come here, but it’s not too bad that you’d think it was a waste of your money. It tastes fine, you get what you paid for. It’s also close to other cafes and touristy spots so transportation shouldn’t be an issue either. The only downside is that you have to wait for at least 2-30 minutes in line if you are visiting this place during the weekend. Also this restaurant is a franchise, which means Gatten Sushi is pretty much everywhere in Seoul. Gatten Sushi Jongno and Gatten Sushi in Gangnam were the good ones, not sure about the rest.
