McDonald's — Restaurant in Tbilisi

I was really hungry with my friends, and they wanted to go to McDonald’s, but I hesitated after reading the reviews about this place.

Spoiler: the bad reviews are absolutely justified!

When we arrived, the available tables were dirty, and we had to clean ours ourselves. We placed an order worth 94 GEL and waited for it for AN HOUR. How is that possible in a FAST FOOD restaurant??

There’s only one explanation – the staff simply don’t care about the guests or their work!

My friend tried twice to check on our order, and later I went to the service manager with the receipt. As I understood, they had lost our order. The manager told me, “2 minutes, please sit down.”

Instead of offering a discount, a complimentary item, or even a simple apology, two McDonald’s employees brought our order 55 minutes after payment. The burgers and nuggets were cold, and they spoke to us in Georgian (even though I had told them in Georgian that I didn’t understand the language). One of the employees even said “happy birthday” as he put the tray on the table, which felt like mockery.

We didn’t have the energy to argue with the staff, as we were starving by that point. My friend asked them to replace the burgers with warm ones, so we were only able to eat at this McDonald’s an hour after ordering.

This was officially my worst experience at any restaurant ever. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and I hope the management pays attention to the feedback from...

i was with my friend, we were waiting for a long time and they got our takeout order mixed with another order that was ordered to eat there, and when we asked they ignored us until we called for the 5th time. the order screen wasn’t working and my order didn’t show up anymore so i went and asked for it and they ignored me again. then my friend’s order was ready and she asked at least 10 times but every employee walked past her until she finally got her order. i could say it was because we are very young, my friend isn’t even a teenager yet but that doesn’t mean the employees should ignore kids like that, its just wrong, it leaves the kid feeling like they’re invisible. it doesn’t matter what age they are, you should never ignore...

Where should I start? I don't have high expectations about the service quality and staff professionalism in Georgia, especially in the takeaways, so I always assume things will go wrong with any of my orders placed online. But how out of 10 McDonald's orders placed via Glovo only 3 came right and the rest had either missing items or the entire order was wrong? I believe the key problem is the bad management incapable to train the staff. The other time was with my kid in the Mall of Saburtalo, and the place wasn't even busy, nevertheless, it took them 30 minutes to serve my kid the Happy Meal ))))) .... no kidding 30 minutes. The staff was extremely lazy and hardly moving. Change the management if they can not...
