New Istanbul Restaurant — Restaurant in Tbilisi

I always order the same izgara köfta (three portions) followed by the dessert sütlaç (two portions) plus mineral water. Good but the köfta is sometimes a bit overcooked. I also ordered etli pide as I was especially hungry (June 17, 2024) and enjoyed that. I like that they grill the hot long green chilis that I bring to spice up the izgara. Another advantage is that this venue stays open late so, I believe, orders are taken till 11pm. For me, the location is good on Pekini away from the clutch of touristic restaurants in Chugureti on Davit Aghmashenebeli street. Meals are cooked to order and service is good. I don't like that they sell only chicken döner as I only eat meat döner. To be honest, the taste is not as good as in an average lokanta in Istanbul; but we find ourselves in Georgia rather than in Turkey and must make do with the local options that...

Kuzu şiş tasted pretty average - nothing special about the meat unfortunately. The portion of meat itself is pretty small for the price. The meat comes with the standard Turkish sides - a lot of bread, some onions, grilled tomato and chilli and some greenery as well as bulgur. Their Sam Tatlisi dessert was something I enjoyed - it had cinnamon taste to it, a nice Turkish sweet dish to try if you have never had it. They also offered me Turkish tea on the house. The staff was attentive. The bill included unexpected 8% charge which I did not notice in the menu. I used to love this place and came on different occasions however haven’t been there for a while and today when I went and ordered same plate I liked last time I realized the quality of the food decreased immensely and is not worth paying for like before, I don’t recommend coming to this place anymore many more restaurants with better quality of food and same prices have opened, such a shame however, the bread they gave us was cold, the food wasn’t great and the plate I came all the way over wasn’t handed to me like last time everything was shrieked in size they...
