Retro — Restaurant in Tbilisi

I went to this place twice , first time the food was delicious but the service was bad , they give u the tea and water without filling it in your glass. secondly, the workers are so rude they do not know what is customer service. In the second time we ordered adjarian khachapuri and was the worst food ever and Service was extremely bad , we ordered for two people and they took 25 min. And they brought only one adjarian khachapuri and then after we told them where is the second one , they said you only ordered one and it took them 12 min to get the another one.

I visited this place because it has reputation to serve the best adjarian khachapuri in tbilsi.

I do not recommend this place to visit honestly, there are much better places in tbilsi with good...

Here is the thing I watched a food vlog and came to this place to try it out. The food was good, however it wasn’t as special as it was documented in the video. It was a regular khachapuri like any other place. We had a salad on the side and it was a big portion enough for 2 which was nice.

The staff are the farthest thing from friendly. They took forever to bring the menus and only brought it when we asked 3-5 minutes later. They were standing with their back to us the whole time. If they were getting paid to not smile, they wouldn’t have done a better job.

Overall recommendation:

Khachapuri is a traditional dish available literally EVERYWHERE in Georgia. Why have it in a place where the staff are taking extra...

Best chatsapuri in tblisi! I saw youtube review before 2 years by mark weins, where they show how to make it... they put into oven and half way take it out, scoop out extra dough of the bread, then put it back in to extra cripsy edges. Really really delicious!!! Two of us got one big (normal) and shared it, that is definitely enough for 2 people. Beer was great. Wine comes from box, do not recommend. They spoke perfect english, but one pretty lady was hard on customer service, no smile no nothing.
