Kojo Sushi — Restaurant in Aachen

Probably the best food delivery experience I had in Aachen so far! Where shall I start?! I ordered on a weekend evening through Lieferando, the Liefernado delivery timer estimated the delivery time to 48 min (makes sense, it’s quite a distance), so the first really positive shock came, when after less than 15 !!! min the delivery guys rang the bell. I ordered two sets of Maki (which accordingly to the menu consist of 6 pieces) and was delighted so find whole 24 pieces instead of 12 delivered! The sushi was some of the freshest sushi I had ever had. Considerably large amount of wasabi paste and ginger and beautifully arranged in the box. The second dish I ordered was a Tofu WOK. It was not the best one I had (too much of the sauce and the sauce didn’t taste freshly prepared) but the vegetables were crispy, cooked to the point and was so hot, that it would burn my tongue if eaten immediately. A huge amount of rice to it. Both dishes were very carefully and thoughtfully ranged and wrapped and the bags, tightened with a sticky tape to make sure, that nothing moves and spills out. For the taste of it I would give 4 stars to the WOK but full 5 to the sushi. Since the service was absolutely outstanding, very well deserved...

As an Asian, I would say, if you want cheaper and mediocre sushi and bento boxes for a quick meal, definitely grab one here. But if you want to find some decent ramen, definitely not. It is not the right way to make Japanese ramen with a soup base or “tare” just by using the original salty miso paste. We are not in Kansai where ramen soup is extremely salty… Please either make milder miso soup or use tonkotsu soup. Additionally, the ramen noodles taste like mild and not chewy. For the fried chicken, please separate it with the soup, otherwise it...

Recently, I ordered Tori Ramen Noodle Soup and Mochi from this place. The delivery was quicker than the estimated time. So kuddos! But the taste is very average. I didn't enjoy the Ramen - good contents (shrimp, fried chicken, veggies) but the soup/broth is very average. I didn't like the taste. On the other hand, the Mochi were really good. They even sent me an extra piece as "Geschenk". Thanks! but I still won't recommend this place for Ramen. There are better Asian...
