Moss bakery — Restaurant in Aachen

We went to this cafe for breakfast and we needed to work from there for a short duration. When i asked lady of she has a table with a plug point she said no. Then my friend tried to go upstairs to look for a plug point because his laptop battery was really low. Suddenly, the older woman shouted at him and told him to not go up and come down and sit since she told him to not use the plug point. Then all three of them started laughing at us. I don't understand what idiocy is this. You open a huge cafe with lots of seats in a city full of students and provide free wifi but don't want to allow using plug point for laptops. It is not like I am going to connect a refrigerator to her plug point. If I sit there then, i will buy more coffee and sandwiches from them. What is more humiliating is them laughing. The staff was rather rude. Worst experience at a Moss ever. Never...

A nice cosy cafe. Nice selection of breads, cake, drinks, quick sandwiches… Wifi is good. A tiny corner for little kids. Some legos and coloring pencils.

But staff! I think in all hundred visits of mine only a few of the many staffs I met were nice & friendly. Rest too serious!

I had a bad experience with the PLUG too! There was a plug next to a table and I just plugged my cellphone! The manager badly asked me not to use it! If you wanna be plugless, then close them properly or put a message People PLEASE don’t use! And not treating customers so strict!

Suggestions: -Bakery staff must be sweet like sweet -A bookshelf (Bücherschrank) -Open the plugs Is Not that much costly! -A few paintings can decorate...

Seit nahezu 2Jahrzehnten bin ich regelmäßige und, was die Qualität der Backwaren, der Kundenfreundlichkeit, der Atmosphäre in den Filialen angeht, sehr zufriedene Kundin der Bäcketei Moss. Inzwischen aber kann ich die Preispolitik nicht mehr nachvollziehen. Klar, die Mehrwertsteuer wurde wieder auf altes Niveau gebracht, viele Produkte und Dienstleistungen sind teurer geworden. Aber mir nicht ersichtlich, und da muss ich mal aufgeklärt werden, wieso ist bei Moss z.B. ein "normales" Frühstück erheblich teurer als bei Kickartz und bei Nobis? Meine Beispiele: Ich frühstücke bei Kickartz ein Brötchen, belegt mit Butter und einer doppelten Scheibe Gouda, bekomme dazu einen vollen Becher Kaffee Crema und bezahle dafür 3,90 Euro. Bei Nobis bestelle ich mir ein mit Käse belegtes Brötchen, garniert mit Salat, Gurke, Tomate und Ei und erhalte dazu einen vollen Becher Filterkaffee. Hier bezahle ich 4,10 Euro. Heute bestellte ich mir in einer Moss Filiale, wie gewohnt, ein Brötchen, Unser Bestes, belegt mit Butter und Käse und trank dazu eine Tasse Filterkaffee. Bezahlen musste ich 4,89 Euro. In allen der genannten 3 Aachener Bäckereien ist die Qualität hervorragend, ich bin mit der Auswahl sehr zufrieden. Wie schaffen es andere Bäckereien bei gleicher Qualität, aber noch höherem Angebot (z.B. Becher statt Tasse, Crema statt Filter, mehr Belag auf dem Brötchen) die Preise dennoch weit unter dem Moss-Niveau zu halten? Kickartz liegt glatte 25 Prozent darunter!
