Royal India — Restaurant in Aachen

Ordered food to be delivered at 20:45 because i was at work, arriving at home earlier but no one delivered until at 21:30 i called to ask where on earth was my food, an indian b&tch talked to me like the most uneducated person, then told me to WAIT cause the food is coming, the delivery guy kept ringing my door from downstairs but i am disabled so i cannot just come downstairs any minute. i called the restaurant again they just told me that i have no number on the apartment door but in fact there is an obvious number, big as hell on the door, talked to me in a very arrogant way until in the end they said they are cancelling the order. i had multiple problems with them during 6-7 orders, always delivering late, always asking to come down when i ask them respectfully to deliver to my door. especially the indian piece of $$$$ on the phone just showed exactly what this restaurant is about....

Please don’t choose this restaurant, It’s completely red flag 🚩 to any people who would like to feel the taste of India. Expected too much as I have spent 70 euros on food. I have mentioned specially to make it spicy and they haven’t did and in return they are complaining on us only. (Stating that what we have to do now, eating the food you have got is the only option ) such a worst service by Royal India restaurant. Please try to be kind to others.

The worst taste 0/5 (Curries are completely filled with sugar, No garlic in garlic Naan, and the gravy is completely water water 💦 ..). The food was completed with our homemade pickle which was much tastier than their food. The worst service 1/5 in entire Germany.

The worst restaurant, damaging the name of Indian highness ...

Though it has been some time since my visit but I just wanted to put this review as I was horrified looking at the good rating. This bad rating is purely a reflection on the food; the service, the presentation and ambience were good. The food though was an absolute travesty and complete disappointment. We ordered two curries which usually comprise the ideal staple order(butter chicken and kadhai paneer) in any Indian restaurant. Firstly, both were really really bad but hilariously we felt both had the same taste apart from addition of a mango pickle in one curry which the chef might have added at the last second so that they don't taste exactly the same. I would advice you to avoid this place at all costs and maybe try some restaurants in Köln...
