Cocoon was such a nice, lovely and friendly place. From the Tea , to sushi , to curry and pho I will always recommend this place.

The beautiful part about this restaurant is that , that the menu has both English and German . So for my out of towners ( don’t worry.)

Number : 444 beef pho ( one of the best I’ve had in Germany)

Chicken curry : 9/10 ( my partner had this, she was amazed . The chicken was cooked to perfection. The curry was cooked to perfection wasn’t too much nor too little)

Bangkok autumn tea: 10/10 for me , 7/10 ( for my partner , she likes her teas sweet . Buuuut I know she’s going to try more )

Tokyo drift : 9/10 it was subtle drink , not strong which is something we love about adult beverages. A drink that had the right balance of fruity and savory.

Rosemary touch : 10/10 was a beautiful balance between the rosemary and of course a touch of everything else .

The presentation we were given were beautiful ( we just ate a little bit first better photos next time of the food before we dig in lol )

I would recommend this restaurant to everyone ! Make a reservation for dinner ! We will be back , so remember to remember us...

If you’re ever in Amberg and hear whispers of a little place called Cocoon, follow them. They’ll probably lead you to sushi rolls that are as photogenic as they are delicious. The fish is fresh, the rice is perfectly sticky, and each bite feels like it’s politely asking you to have another.

But here’s the thing—while the sushi may lure you in, the miso soup is the real reason you’ll be telling your friends, your family, and maybe even your postman about Cocoon. It’s not your standard “polite starter.” No, this one is rich, deep with a hint of sweetness, and so comforting it feels like it should come with a warm blanket and a motivational pep talk.

Took our friends here for a birthday dinner. We took an early reservation and are glad we did, it gets busy fast! Our waiter Hain was attentive and has a sense of humor, and a great personality. Our server Lu was very nice and they both took very good care of us. We ordered two large appetizers, 4 sushi rolls, kimchi salad and 4 entrees. Everything was hot, tasty, and well presented. The spiciness was a bit tame but I’d imagine they will turn up the heat if requested to. Dessert was coconut lime panna cotta and it was delicious.
