The only good thing about this place is the presentation. The presentation of the restaurant is attractive with the birch trees, wood tables and food plates. The server was curt and semi-rude insisting I needed an English menu, when I can speak 3 languages (including German since my husband is German). She then kept asking me questions in English for me to continue to respond to her in German. The hamburger was a premade frozen patty that tasted like a Walmart frozen patty. The fries had a strange taste, probably whatever they were fried in? They also come up in Gluten free searches with GF bread options, but its "bread less". Any restaurant could then be GF if they simply remove the bread. Overall, an overpriced dinner for the poor quality and service. At first friendly but attitude build up quickly. Patient also none with this overwhelming menu. never go there again. Overpriced and expensive. That’s ridiculous. They make it look like a meal is 12.90 but that’s just the burger and you pay basically double for everything. Us got told that the price is the same with a drink or not but after the shock when we got the receipt we figured that it definitely would be cheaper to just get a burger with a soda . So that was definitely on purpose to get the more expensive price. Not professional at all. Little kid wanted a salad instead fries but they said , that’s impossible & does not work. I saw many times this chain of hamburgers across Germany but It’s was the first time to check.
I took the “meal menu” which costs about 22-27€ depending on the hamburger choice, so the price range for hamburger, fries and “cocktail” is on the higher side. The hamburger is Ok, was tasty but compared with bars/restaurants that serve hamburgers it’s in between the American chains to a real restaurant hamburger, nothing special but still decent, if considering the price and options (I’m talking in general, not on this location only) there are many places (bars or real restaurants) that you will get a real house made premium hamburger as meal at same price or sometimes less.
