La Vecchia Banca — Restaurant in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe

We visited this old bank turned restaurant on a Saturday evening and had one of the most memorable dining experiences for our anniversary. Reservations are recommended. The service of the staff and their attentiveness to our needs was unmatched by any other fine dining experience. The menu options are all appealing and I don't think there is any wrong choice. The wine the waiter brought us was especially good and we bought the bottle. We had the red beet carpaccio with Buffalo mozzarella appetizer it was elegant and tasty with every bite. We were brought a small complimentary gnocci that was fried and pleasantly light with full flavor. The entree we decided on was the honey and parmesan Iberico pork chops. This delightful cut of meat was prepared to perfection, leaving every taste bud dancing with satisfaction. For dessert you cannot go wrong, but we chose the creme brulé and some grappa with an excellent cup of Italian coffee. The fish of the day is one I will try on our next visit. For the quality and service of this fine establishment, the prices are extremely reasonable. My highest recommendation to visit this place if you are in Bad Homburg, or even from the Frankfurt or Wiesbaden surrounding area (25 mins from Wiesbaden) and looking for a fine dining experience. Seitdem wir in Bad Homburg wohnen, haben wir verschiedene inhabergeführte schöne Geschäfte und Lokale entdeckt.

Ein wirklich prachtvoll, stilecht und dem Denkmalschutz folgend saniertes Restaurant haben wir in der Ludwigstraße 12, direkt gegenüber des Hotels "Maritim", gefunden.

Die Schönheit des Restaurants "La Vecchia Banca" ließen unsere Herzen viel höher schlagen. Inzwischen sind wir Stammgäste geworden.

Stets waren und sind wir mit unseren beiden kleinen Kindern herzlich willkommene Gäste.

Das Essen schmeckt uns vieren immer wieder und manchmal wird sogar ein -je nach Appetit- spontan zubereitetes Essen außerhalb der Karte serviert. Das nenne ich perfekten Service, Kreativität und Liebe am Kochen.

Der Inhaber Luciano ist ein sehr freundlicher und liebevoller Gastgeber. Schon deswegen kommen wir immer wieder hierher. Zudem gefallen uns die ausgestellten Gemälde und die jährlich wiederkehrende wunderschöne Weihnachtsdekoration, die von einer großen Detailverliebtheit des Inhabers zeugen.

Auch die Toiletten sind von peinlicher Sauberkeit und gutem Duft.

Wir können jedem wärmstens empfehlen, im Restaurant "La Vecchia Banca" einzukehren, lecker zu Essen und sich von der Atmosphäre beeindrucken zu lassen.

I found La Vecchia Banca on Google and decided to try it. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The menu features authentic seasonal Italian dishes. I enjoyed the lobster plate they cooked for me . Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience and I'd recommend giving La Vecchia Banca a try if you're looking for a good Italian meal!
