Weinrich Küche & Wein — Restaurant in Bayreuth

Came to this restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday, it's one of the newer restaurants in the city so we wanted to see if it would be a hidden gem in the city, and we weren't disappointed. Because we had plans to drink later in the night we decided to have an early dinner so we were the first people in the restaurant.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very modern with very comfortable seating and large tables even though the restaurant seems small from the outside. They also accommodate eating outside if you want to eat outside during the nice weather.

Now moving on to the food, for us we had a meat plate to go with our wine while we waited for other meals, the presentation of the meat plate was excellent and the wine paired very well with the plate.

From there I ordered the Tuna Tartar and my wife ordered the goat cheese as an appetizer. The tuna tartar was extremely fresh and almost made me forgot we aren't near the sea. The crunch of the onion/fried object on top of the tuna tartar gave a crisp taste to a raw item. For my wife she is very picky about goat cheese cause it can be done very well or bad, she had no complaints about it neither did I.

From there we can go to the main course, I ordered the roast beef and she ordered the ravioli. Oh man, usually I have to have alot of flavours and sauces when it comes to a steak but the beef really hit the spot, the meat was pretty much perfect when it comes to doneness. And the sauce made it perfect to pair with a red wine. The side of the baked potato gave a good contrast to the steak to make your mouth not fatigued with the taste of the steak.

My wife coming to ravioli enjoyed the crispness of the outside of the ravioli and the very nostalgic taste of ravioli, to put it in simple terms, tastes like how grandma made it.

Lastly we had to complete our meal with deserts, we shared the sorbet with sparkling wine, which doesn't sound special at first, but when you first dig into the sorbet you don't realize it has pop rock candy which surprisingly complements the desert.

So long story short I would I would say that this restaurant is this is a hidden gem of a restaurant, I didn't expect to find a restaurant as good as this in this part of...

Uitstekende wijnkaart, met zeer goede aanbevelingen, aangepast aan het eten! De chef Heinrich verwelkomt zijn gasten persoonlijk en doet suggesties naargelang je persoonlijke wensen. Silvia staat in voor de bediening en is zeer gastvrij! Heinrich en Silvia creëren een zeer aangename sfeer in hun restaurant, een gezellige ervaring. Wij hadden een geweldige restaurant ervaring voor een absoluut eerlijke prijs. Als ik in Bayreuth ben, dan ga ik zeker terug...

Nach der Oper zum Weinrich, für meine Frau und mich ein perfekter Tag! Danke an Heini Schöpf und sein Team. Das Essen war hervorragend, tolle Weine in angenehmer Atmosphäre, was will man mehr.
