I went to eat their pizza a few months ago and Google asked me what I thought, so I decided to leave a review. Well... My partner works as a pizzaiolo and to me the dough doesn’t seem like a proper sourdough (impasto madre), but aside from that the pizza isn’t bad (though the dough needs to be revised), not among the best in Berlin. I’ve tried many others that are decisively better in quality, and I must admit that I also couldn’t digest it at night. The quality of food and drinks didn’t excite me, and the same goes for the atmosphere inside the pizzeria. That´s why 2 stars.

I remember being told that it was the concept of “impasto madre” and that it was even mentioned in the description of the online profile. That’s why I really wanted to try it, but something must have changed since then (website or dunno). Sorry, but it just wasn’t a 5-star experience for me in terms of my expectations and taste. I’ve tried others that were definitely better and worthy of 5 stars. That’s all. One has to accept that someone might think that, overall — considering taste, quality, service, and atmosphere — it’s not worth more than 2 stars. It’s important to accept other people’s opinions. Read moreReal deal awesome Pizza! What I would call the "classic" style I carry in my heartfelt memories and that it's quite hard to find in Berlin's pizza paradise. Although it might be quite a satisfactory meal for most, it's light enough to leave space for a montanarina, which is a taste explosion! If you like tiramisù, here you have a delightful homemade one at hand... Beside the efficient service provided, the owner is also a kind person and he took the time to answer questions about their pizza and their concept. All together, in a cozy but still spacious enough environment. Total pleasure! Period.

First time I try "prosciutto e funghi" here... first time I try a white "prosciutto e funghi"... my favourite pizza here so far - I haven't tried them all yet - best "prosciutto e funghi" in a lifetime!!!
I can taste the passion, they make us feel like their most awaited customers, they look like they're having fun while they're delivering so much, top notch Italian quality in a Berlin style environment... if you love pizza (and Berlin)...

We all make mistakes, and I wanted to do a picture of the oven and kitchen setting: the pizzaiolo got very nervous and said that it wasn't allowed. I totally understand and would have apologised, but he continued insisting and then complaining with his colleague in Italian: still throwing some looks at us during our dinner. (Please note that the restaurant has an open kitchen) I found it very unwelcoming and almost aggressive. It really ruined our evening and we won't return back to this restaurant. Better go to a restaurant with some standard of courtesy towards the customers. Our biggest mistake was to have dinner there.
