Arkaoda — Restaurant in Berlin

if you follow a certain type of music arkaoda is the right place for you. i personally prefer more the live sets then the dj sets but the program is normally very good. however, the sound system needs to be upgraded (the basement area is currently closed and under renovation so i hope they will take care of it)

on weekends after a certain hour (i think 9 or 10 pm) you have to pay for getting in, this is bc there is normally a party happening in the basement. don’t come here if you don’t care of what is going on in the basement bc otherwise you’ll have to pay for going only in the bar (upstairs)

on weekends they also have food pop ups...

I went out for a family call when I went back they didn’t let me in and my bag was inside! I had to call the police to get my bag back and the security is racist ! They will judge you right away and if they heard you speaking Arabic they will act weird.

They even took my phone from my hand when I was trying to film the situation happened ! They try hard to control the area outside the door and force you to go away because the neighbors complains ..

Very bad experience and never recommend...

A very discriminative bar! This enterprise was opened to get visas for two families who have already been running a place with the same name in Istanbul. Maybe this is understandable but they are applying double standart and very discriminative gate policy to the people in Istanbul which can not be explained with any reasonable aim. It is a pitty that they are pretending that they are open minded and liberal people while they re waiting for their residence permit because...
