Zosse • Bar / Biergarten — Restaurant in Berlin

Generally a cool and vibey bar but the bartender should learn to manage his temper, considering he works in customer service. We had put jackets and a pizza box on the bar next to us (I left the jackets on the pizza as I thought it might be rude to have pizza on the counter) and got met by the bartender crudely asking us if we could move the stuff because there are other people who want to sit at the bar (Mind you, the stuff was on a corner). I then tried to move the stuff and told him we had a pizza box and asked him where I should put it and he said that he doesn't know but I should get it off the bar and then made some under his breath comments about how it's disrespectful and we are not the only people in here. Very unwelcoming, arrogant and passive aggressive. I was merely trying to be courteous and asking where it would be best to put the pizza so it's in no ones way and doesn't bother the staff. Ended up having to keep it on our lap at the bar. I work and have worked as service personnel for the past 10 years and was this close to leaving just because of this snarky guy, considering he'd also be the one making my drink. Oh and the guy who sat down, sat at a spot where our stuff wouldn't even have been in the way.

On the up side, the blonde girl who checked us out was incredibly sweet and I hope she kept 100% of...

Truly one of Berlin's hidden gems! We first discovered Zosse by chance a few years ago when visiting friends in Berlin in winter. Everytime since when we came back to Berlin we've stopped by at least once to visit Zosse again. The staff is super friendly, their drinks are excellent and their prices more than fair. Super cozy in winter and an excellent relaxed location in summer.

We even had our wedding here and both the preparation beforehand as well as the day itself was smooth sailing thanks to the team at Zosse!

Beautiful experience in an old - apparently was horses place - house! Feels like in a village although its in Berlin, and away from all the noise of the city. Very pretty design from inside and outside, positive atmosphere which gives a high appetite for drinking Beer while its raining outside. Pretty sure that it will be great also in summer. They have good Beer, me and my friends spent a lot of hours in this place - very fair prices. Very much...
