I have been visiting this place since 2020 and was once very delighted to have a place in Berlin for Dim Sum. However, it comes to my great disappointment in the recent visits in May 2024 as well as yesterday. The Dim Sum was badly made now, maybe the 蝦餃/腸粉 is still edible but are also way overpriced. Other Dim Sum including 鮮竹牛肉 the meat was so dry. 鳳爪way too salty. Even before its owner changed to Ming recently, the 咸水角was overdone even deep fried. 晚飯小菜were also badly done. Even the 白飯 let alone not using Jasmine rice, within a bowl you can find some part super wet while other parts so dry that you can hardly chew. Many disappointments cannot be listed all out here. I have impression that they don't care about the taste of the food so much more (I am not even demanding for authenticity). It is not the first time I heard the service was not good and it was again validated by the request of payment was acknowledged but deliberately ignored by multiple of staff wearing poker faces. Overall, their price increased but food quality decreased and I feel regret to have brought my friends there...

Worst food experience ever

We visited rather late and did not have a reservation. We requested a table and they told us that there were none, we’d have to wait and try again in 30 minutes. We did and they still didn’t have a table so we ordered the food to go. Waited some 20 minutes for the food, and the most expensive dish we ordered was left out. We only realised that when we reached home and called the restaurant to clarify. Before any solution could be reached they hung up on us. On that note - when we collected our food, we asked if that’s all and they did not give us any extra bags. Also, after we collected our food, we stood waiting for our Uber (for over 10 minutes) outside the restaurant (which has glass doors and windows). They made no attempts to tell us that we forgot an item.

The food we did receive was tragically sad as well. We could count the amount of chicken in our gungbao chicken with our fingers. The dimsum looked storebought and was not...

Clear 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! Aroma is hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant in Berlin! The wide selection on the menu ensures there's something for everyone, and almost everything I've tried tastes solid and authentic. The water spinach and morning glory are always fresh and perfectly seasoned, adding a delightful crunch to my meal. But the real star for me is the grilled pig belly – it's a must-do on every visit, with its tender, juicy texture and incredible flavor. 🥘 The ambiance is welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive, making every dining experience a pleasure. Whether you're craving classic dishes or looking to try something new, Aroma never disappoints. I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a top-notch Chinese dining experience in Berlin. Love the food!! 🍱 Enjoy your next visit to Aroma! 🔥🤙🏽

We had lunch here this time of visit in Berlin, came back to this place as we really enjoyed it last time with friends. It was Sunday lunch and were disappointed. Most of the food was still decent but some are way below par compared to all the recent Dimsum places we've eaten in the last year. The fried tofu was so weird and badly cooked. Same with the rice. The buns were excellent, but chicken feet and other stuff was just normal, the mixed dish was a bit salty on the day. Staff and atmosphere were friendly and good. Everything was clean. Parking is super hard in this area, so you should expect to drive a few rounds before you get one.
