Bürkner Eck — Restaurant in Berlin

I LOVED this beautiful spot. The cocktail menu is brief but sophisticated, the wine list is well curated and the atmosphere is unique to most other bars, being 90% candle lit.

If you go here be prepared to be a bit more reserved in your tone, Bürkner Eck evokes and demands a sense of intimacy so it is not suggested to come with a group of loud and hyped party-goers but rather a partner or friends who can have a nice conversational evening and keep the mood mellow.

It looks as though in the past service has been a bit disappointing but the service I received here twice was excellent. They have since turned it around.

There is no smoking at this bar. Do not expect to find a robust selection...

Nice atmosphere apart from what struck me as pretentious and fussy staff. Guests were reprimanded more than three times for having a dog with them, which disturbed my feeling of comfort. Other guests were reprimanded for moving a chair. May I remind the staff that this is Berlin?

The drinks were subtly good but at the same time extremely strong and watery from the ice cubes, so not chilled enough overall. None of our drinks had any sour notes even though that is what we came for. There are better drinks elsewhere in Berlin at...

Recently visited Bürkner Eck and really enjoyed the friendly service and top-notch drinks. The bartenders really know their stuff and the quality of the ingredients they use is clear in every sip.
