BANG BOOM BURGER — Restaurant in Berlin

A burger spot that I had on my list for a while due to the high rating and due to the proximity to other burger joints. There are a few standout features in this spot. The decor is really nice it's kind of a berlin-y but sorta modern industrial with neon stuff and a cool plant wall. There's also an ATM mounted into the window. Odd thing to see. Also SpongeBob was running. So 5 stars for that.

Ordering was pretty streamline with everything but I didn't get any napkins to my order. I thought it was fine since there's a sink to wash your hands but it didn't have running water.

The food itself was kinda miss for me. I order the bang boom special which I thought was their best burger or something. I didn't read the description at all so it's my bad but it's basically shrimps in panko with a bit of salad and chili mayo. Kinda plain for the price and nothing special sadly. But, maybe some people like it. The chili fries were solid tho. Enjoyed those. Kinda wish all the cheese was melted but I get the idea. I'll prolly revisit this spot and try a beef burger and update this review. Would've been 2 stars overall if this is the quality of all...

We arrived at this burger joint right at closing time, but they still welcomed us with open arms. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome, like they were happy to have us despite the late hour. It’s rare to find such excellent service, especially when places are about to close, but the team here went above and beyond.

The burger? Absolutely delicious—one of the best we’ve had, and we’ve tried plenty! But what really stood out was the service. The attendant treated us better than most places in Berlin, with a friendliness and warmth that made our night. Surprised at the ratings as this place was really mediocre. Ordering seemed really disorganised as it took us around 45 minutes to get our food. Not great for something as simple as burgers.

The burgers were ok. Nothing awful but there is a way to make a great burger and this isn't it. The bun, the patty, the salad, the sauce, the cheese. All those elements need to be considered and they were all wrong in this burger. Wouldn't bother again.

I asked for a tap water on my way out and I was told the tap was broken. How do you run a clean kitchen with a broken tap? Just seems like he was pointlessly...
