man I have to say.. really great food and very cute interior. but the service today just does not match expectations. I can see some other similar reviews, so surprised by such a high score.
perhaps we caught everyone on a bad day, but man the staff were grumpy and not even paying attention to our order. this is despite coming before 9 when only about 5 customers on average.
I know it's busy on weekends and a tough gig, but these two folks really brought some negative vibes today. harsh even by Berlin standards.
on top of that, some other customer brought his dog in there, who first blocked the staff from coming out of the service area for some minutes (I couldn't reach my food) and then proceeded to just sit in the middle of the room blocking everyone else. not sure why the owner felt the need to sit inside like that, nor why staff said nothing. just messed up the whole flow for 30 minutes we were there, adding some dark humour to the whole situation.
I wouldn't come back, as there area so many other spots around to check. my guess is, whoever designed the menu and interior concepts is not involved in...

But other flavors we ate here last year either are not made anymore, or their quality is far worse than it used to be. For example pistachio croissant used to be my favorite last year, this year they put some other cream inside the croissant and just 'sprayed' a but of pistachios on top. Dissapointing. But if you come here to have a plain croissant and a cup of coffee, you'll leave happy
Original post September 2022: Loved this place. One of the best tasting butter croissants I had outside of France. It has that rich butter flavor that I wasn't able to taste even in La Fayette in Berlin... They have filled croissants and other pastries as well, I loved the pistachio croissant (eventhou the filling was not pistachio paste but more like pistachio pudding, it complimented the croissant flavor quite nicely and was more light). My husband had a nougat croissant which was nice but didn't wow us. Anyways this is an excellent spot for...

The vegan croissants here seem to be the same as the selection you can get at another cafe. (I like that location much better, though) These croissants generally taste ok and are nicely flaky. But when I got croissants here around 11 AM, they were already soggy...
Also, there is not much seating indoors and buying for take-out is more comfortable. Opening hours are rather short (7am to 2pm on weekdays, until 4pm on weekends), so better plan your visit (or croissant cravings)...
