I landed here when I was doing a bar crawl with a friend on a Friday for getting to know the neighbourhood. The unimpressive appearence made us sceptical but it was super inside.

The bar has a very special charme of old times. Classy and modern interior, not to crowded and snobby but cosy. We were sitting at the bar, because tables were reserved, it was never the less pleasant. Smoking is allowed, but it was not to smoky at that evening. Prieces are higher, after spending some time there it felt ok because the service is really great. There were three bar keepers (which I find remarkable for size and location of the bar compared to other bars around) elegantly dressed and very considerate. Besides the drinks, a glass of water was served and a bowl of snacks. Both was filled several times with out any word. Drinks were well mixed and with high quality ingedients. The only negative was that I got a strange look after taking the bill...

Visited Bar Immertreu last night and had one of the worst service experiences I've encountered in Berlin. The bartender was unwelcoming and rude from the moment we walked in. After being seated, we waited 20 minutes just to receive a menu and place an order. Then we waited another 20 minutes only for the bartender to return and tell us he'd completely forgotten about our order. To make matters worse, the bartender appeared to be intoxicated while on duty. At that point, we'd had enough and decided to leave.

The complete lack of basic hospitality and professionalism was shocking. Would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant evening out. There are plenty of other bars in Berlin where customers are actually valued and staff maintain...

Was visiting Berlin and came across this bar on google. Quick note (bring cash to pay bill) there is an atm nearby.

You have to ring the doorbell to get into the bar. Once we were in we sat at the bar. (Which was completely empty) the seating section with couches was full. It was a Friday night around midnight.

We ordered drinks from the bartender who at first we couldn’t tell if he was happy to have us there or not. The drinks were absolutely delicious. It was my friends birthday and the bartender ended up warming up to us and we had a great night talking to him.

He made us a few other delicious drinks! But definitely had a great night and loved the vibe...
