Berliner Kaffeerösterei — Restaurant in Berlin

Terrible service. This is one of my very few Google reviews because unless something is not right, I don’t share. But for this cafe, I must share my experience - the staff was extremely rude to me. When I went to the toilet, she came after me and basically raised her voice and told me to close the door for female toilets when it was not my intention at all. Also there was another door for her toilet as how toiles are normally. I don’t understand why she was so pissed and rude to me. It completely ruined my day in Berlin. I somehow apologized but I do not recommend here at all if you want to have a peaceful day in Berlin.

P.s. the staff now complains in the Google review that I didn’t close my toilet door - this is a huge lie. I absolutely closed my toilet door. It is a basic manner and I actually cannot believe I have to write about it. I don’t even think it was me as I left the toilet way before this staff. But anyway, it doesn’t change the fact that I felt like they were extremely rude and being perhaps racist. Ans I’m allowed to share my honest experience here...

Berliner Kaffeerösterei is next to the huge BMW office building and showroom and within a short walking distance to the Berlin Central Bus Station.

There are a variety of sandwiches, drinks and coffees, all at reasonable prices.

Berliner Kaffeerösterei also provides catering services for special events.

The closest metro stop is on the corner.

The café-restaurant is attractive and modern and inside there are several comfortable sofas to relax on while enjoying your food and drink and a dozen or so round tables with chairs. Outside on the front terrace there are several comfortable seating areas with sofas and chairs.

There is subdued and sophisticated music that is calming. One area has bags of various fresh coffee beans and assorted coffee and tea accessories for sale.

Cash and credit and debit cards are accepted. The café-restaurant is open from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM Mondays through Fridays, on Saturdays from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Berliner Kaffeerösterei is closed on Sundays.

The staff are all polite, friendly and efficient. There are modern toilets...

Für Reisende die eine kleine Pause auf der Reise in Berlin einlegen ist das Café bestens geeignet. Es ist nicht zu weit entfernt und in 5 Minuten Fußmarsch vom Hbf Berlin erreichbar.

Sauberer Eindruck und direkt an zwei guten Autohäusern die selber schon Eindruck schinden, macht sich diese Café einen guten Eindruck.

Bestellt werden kann an der Theke, von der Servicekraft oder sogar international freundlich Digital via einer WebApp. Diese ist schlank und übersichtlich Aufgebaut sowie einfach zu Bedienen.

Bezahlen lässt sich dementsprechend Bar oder auch mit allen Digitalen mittel. In der WebApp sogar mit PayPal, was ich persönlich auch super finde. Manko an der Stelle ist in der WebApp, dass Verfügbarkeiten von Angeboten leider nicht angezeigt werden und man dies erst von der Servicekraft mitgeteilt bekommt. - Das nimmt sich aber nicht viel da man ohne Aufpreis Alternativen in der Kategorie wählen darf. Top!

Geschmacklich und preislich bin ich zufrieden und finde ich es genau abgestimmt. Nicht zu hochtrabend aber auch nicht nur Futter, sonder für eine befriedigende Mahlzeit genau richtig. Also angemessne Preise für das was man bekommt.

Ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt ist die Verfügbarkeit einer Sanitäranlage oder auch WC, welches obendrein auch Barrierefrei ist. (Vllt nicht zu 100%, eher 80%) ;) Positiv fällt nämlich die Sauberkeit und Reinlichkeit auf, dafür dass diese auch noch Kostenlos ist fand ich super. Das hinterlässt gleich einen viel abgerundeten Eindruck und hebt sich von Stadtabsteigen deutlich herab, wenn man bedenkt dass es nur ein Café ist.

Somit kann ich das kleine Café wärmstens empfehlen als Städtler oder auch als Reisender der eine kleinen...
