Bootshaus Stella am Lietzensee — Restaurant in Berlin

If you manage to ocupied a sit on the waterfront of the Lietzensee overlooking the lake on a bright shinnig day you easily start dreaming to be somewhere else. The atmosphäre from the Park where a lot of people relax or meet each other talking or getting an suntan during there break in the heart of Charlottenburg gives you relief from your duty work. You have to organize your Drinks and food by yourself and this a bit of stress to stand in line to give your order and dont expect to much what you will get is what it is - extensive but worse for Siting around and be part of the flow...

For some reason they don’t take German N26 Maestro EC debit cards or MasterCard debit cards. Or Apple Pay. Especially in the current climate suggest you up your game on the card front. Both these German bank cards are accepted in Rewe, Edeka, DM, Rossmann, BVG, KadeWe and every other restaurant and shop I have been in except here at the Bootshsus and the Piano cafe near by for some reason. Maybe it’s swamp gas from the lake, I don’t know. Had a pleasant lunch instead in the nearby Lotus House who were more than happy to take...

Stopped by for quick dinner since the weather was nice. The outdoor area is very pleasant with view of the lake...nice place for sunset. Everything is self-service so you need to go inside to order and again to pick up your food. We ordered pizza and spaghetti which was ok. Menu was limited and restaurant has more of a fast food feel. I would definitely recommend this place for drinks while surrounded by nature. It’s not a foodie type of place and would definitely go again for...
