Cosy retreat with a bit of a rustic scandi aesthetic, good coffee, lovely kind workers & peaceful atmosphere. I was at first the only customer inside & in the unfortunate position of having to do an emergency rather emotional FaceTime for an hour or so, which is not ideal for a public space! This is one of my most favourite places to go in the kiez. Unfortunately, the matcha today was really bad. It was almost as if half a jar of matcha was poured into a little bit of milk. It was just too strong and not mixed at all. I hope this review is taken as a constructive criticism from loyal customer who genuine wishes to see this place thrive. This café sits quietly in a calm corner of Schiller Kiez. Its not a pretentious place, giving instead a warm confidence produced by the coziness and by the limited, but excellent pastry menu.
