After that rude handling this was my last visit at the restaurant "Chandi". Here is why: I feel shocked and disappointed how me and my friend were treated at our dinner and basically thrown away from our table by the waitress that night. The restaurant doesn't offer reservation. We had to wait to find place where we wanted. As soon as we finished our meals we were asked by the waitress to order more (or if we do not spend more money on the menu) to pay that bill and leave the table EMIDETLY, she said. Because people are waiting... she emphasized. It was very rude communicated. There were other tables getting free at the moment and the restaurant had plenty free tables inside! Though she threw us away with her harsch and disrespectful way to manage the situation. Me and my friend shall never come back again and recomend this place. 0 🌟 because of the missing social/human skills, empathy and emotional intelligence are the core skills if one wants to work with clients and food. People are not numbers...

The only suggestion I have is to improve the Sambhar that came with the dosa, as I found it a bit bland. Otherwise, everything was great, and we would definitely recommend Chandni Restaurant to anyone looking for authentic...
Read moreI’ve been to many Indian restaurants in Berlin and most are okay, whereas very few are great. So far, I believe that this place is THE BEST. A part from the food being delicious, what I truly appreciate is how authentic the dishes are ( prepared by lovely Indian women by the way ). What’s more, they don’t simply add a ton of cream and/or butter to make their food tastier. They’re actually Capable of blowing you away without the heavy cream. Finally, Even the variety of spices used aren’t the basic ones you find in most Indian restaurants. I felt like my Indian mommy had just prepared a nice meal for me. Great...
