Was in Berlin for a few days and stumbled across this lovely vegan restaurant with food options I could only dream of back home! It was unfortunatly a rainy day, but this place was warm, welcoming, and the first place my sister felt comfortable enough to exercise her rusty German. We eventually reverted to English after our German lessons from high school had ran out but it wasn't a problem at all.
The portions are pretty big! We ordered a bowl of mixed goodies such as potato fries, nuggets and onion rings as well as our mains of pizza and a burger. The pizza was the perfect size with great toppings and the burger was pretty massive! The only let down was that the burger didn't really taste of anything in perticular, but it was fine nonetheless and filled the hole in my stomach anyway. The fries are really where it's at though! Perfectly shaped for dipping into their fantastic sauces. We also order some drinks that were also very nice. I'd recommend the mojito in the morning because it really will wake you up! Overall a fantastic experience and we can't wait...

Despite mentioning pizza on their website, there is none on the menu. “Gibts nicht mehr”. No appologies, they just did not care. Since I came for pizza, I did not eat as for me there was too much garlic and onions in their other dishes. I just had something to drink.
We ended up being served an under average sized BBQ-burger with no BBQ-sauce as it turned out their BBQ-sauce was not gluten-free. Instead, we got the onions, which we did not want. Had we been informed that they changed our order? No, we were told when food was served.
When we asked for our leftovers to be packed, I was handed a box to pack them myself. Nice service! Guess you still expect being tipped.
Overall we paid 35 euros for one gluten-free burger with fries (€25!) and two drinks, as they ridiculously overcharge for gluten-free options.
I left hungry and disappointed.
Thank you for your underwhelming hospitality. We will “froindlichst” go...
Read moreThis place has a very ironic name, considering the unfriendly attitude of the gentleman who today treated us like unwanted guests. The place is open from 9:30, we came for breakfast at 10:05 and most of the seats were still empty. Unfortunately, we found out that we wouldn't be able to sit down without a reservation. We decided to wait for a free table. After fifteen minutes, most of the tables were still free, so I suggested that we sit down for a quick breakfast or wait as long as necessary. A very rude gentleman said no, because he wouldn't manage the kitchen to give us breakfast faster. After my comment that this attitude did not match the name of the place, he became confrontational and followed me out of the restaurant, becoming confrontational and causing me a lot of stress. This specific understanding of the word "froindlichst". [EDIT] nearby we found a pleasant place, with a fully vegan and delicious breakfast, which turned out to be "froindlichst" - I...
