The food is not terrible, but it's not Japanese broth ramen. It's some Chinese guys selling ready made (ie they buy powder and add their ingredients). Sadly ramen is very hard to make, you need a high turnover (i e min 200 bowls / day), and an experienced guy (or gal!) that loves his craft. This place tastes like fake iphone.

By the way, most if the reviews are fake or at least paid for. Just look at the stock fotos and text, and 'local' guide that made them. With I had done my homework before being disappointed.

I challenge the owner to point out one inaccuracies in above text...

I actually hate ramen but I was starving one day and decided to give it a chance. I've tried every dish on the menu and let me tell you: IT'S EXCELLENT. Also, you'll get the best quality every time. The quality of ingredients and preparation has been consistent for all the six months I've been going there. The portion sizes are very reasonable. The staff are exceptionally friendly and beyond respectful. I highly recommend this place, the quality of food and the quality of service are worth every euro you spend there and more! This is the only thing I'll miss...

Appetizers were fine, we had spinach with sesame/peanut sauce + takoyaki + miso soup. Miso soup was a little over concentrated and salty.

Mains were abysmal. We had Ma Po Tofu and “Beef Rice”. The Ma Po Tofu was spicy but lacked flavor. The Beef rice was literally tasteless. I do t know what flavour it was. The beef itself was tender and had a mild (not Japanese) flavour profile, but the sauce was insipid.

Also notable: neither dish used short grain white rice, a Japanese staple. Both had tasteless, quite dry, long grain white...

Delicious Ramen with homemade broth and fresh tempura! A friendly place even for small groups up to 7 people, we went there after working at the fair. Staff was extremely friendly and honest about what's homemade and what not. The Ramen broths are made in house and as re absolutely delicious, so are all of their Tempura dishes. Got the white peach oolong tea and it wasn't too sweet, I like that! Will come back, thank you so much :)

Small neighborhood Ramen place in Charlottenburg. While most classic Ramen, including vegetarian options are in the menu, they didn’t strike me as being among the better Ramens I’ve had. Both size and freshness of preparation could be better. Also the Shrimp Tempura we had was off. Not tempura at all, but just deep fried (probably frozen) shrimp tails. Still need to find a truly indulging Ramen place in Charlottenburg.
