Windback — Restaurant in Berlin

Hey i saw a lot of local people cycling by to buy bread. But my experience was weird and good service? Not at all. I ordered food and drink, without asking me whether to take away or no. He packed my sandwich with HIS BARE HANDS and a paper cup of coffee with milk. When i asked him why he didn't ask me before packing, he said "oh because you didn't say anything". EXACTLY. you dont make up your own mind unless the customer tells you when or how theyd like to enjoy the breakfast. later he took the money with the same hand i was like...emm lets pretend that i didn't see it. The food i ordered was sandwich of fresh cheese and tomato. Normal. Really salty as well cuz it had the sea salt on the bread and i had to remove it so that i could type in Google now. I give it a 2 cuz thats the only thing and time i tried the food there. Might not be too fair but breakfast means everything to me and...

The amazing smell of the food is already perceived outside and welcomes you right into the store! The meals are undoubtedly delicious 🤤 The coffee is ok. Not bad, but not outstanding either. The service is good. I feel like because of the great amount of costumers the baristas often get overwhelmed and can't great and receive everyone with calmness and friendliness. The atmosphere is pretty ok too. It can get loud easily because of the small room, but it's still nice to have a conversation over brunch with a friend. If you're seeking for a quiet atmosphere for reading or studying I wouldn't necessarily recommend it tho. I can imagine it's amazing in summer when it's more comfortable to sit outside. Also, there is NO wifi for all the home office...
