During my visit, I encountered discriminatory and aggressive behavior from the café owner specifically concerning the use of laptops. Despite adhering to the café’s unclear policy—by moving to a table by the window where laptop use was seemingly permitted—I was confronted, shouted at, and treated in a threatening and humiliating manner. The café owner aggressively claimed that laptops should not be allowed at all, contradicting the already confusing and inconsistently enforced rules.
It is worth noting that the café was not busy at the time—there were plenty of available seats—and I was simply using my laptop while it charged, without disturbing anyone. Still, I was treated as if I had committed a serious offense, yelled at publicly, and made to feel deeply uncomfortable and unsafe.
Following this confrontation, I received no apology—only dismissive remarks such as “I can only laugh at it,” which reflect a shocking lack of professionalism and accountability. The attitude was not only disrespectful but also deeply inappropriate for someone managing a customer-facing business.
This kind of aggressive and discriminatory behavior should not be tolerated in any professional...
Read moreI’m disappointed to see the owner’s public reply, which I found unprofessional and unnecessarily personal. The response contains false claims—for example, that I occupied a six-person table or violated house rules—which are not true.
To clarify: – I moved to the designated laptop area as indicated by the café’s own signage. – I ordered a large cappuccino and a full-sized egg sandwich, which takes time to consume. – I complied with the posted policies, yet the owner approached me in a raised and aggressive tone that made me feel intimidating and deeply unsafe. – Most concerning, the owner publicly questioned my mental well-being, claiming that I have issues and suggesting I shouldn’t leave the cafe if I “seek conflict.” This kind of personal attack is deeply inappropriate, stigmatizing, and unacceptable—especially coming from a business representative.
This kind of aggression, hostility and disrespect, both in-person and online, and the dismissive tone of the response—can have a lasting impact on customer trust and the...
Read moreNever order tea here. Every time I order it I think how could I forget how badly it is served here. They serve it in a filter, which is very uncomfortable and drips all the time, and they don't even give you a saucer or anything to put it in afterwards. Even if you ask, they only have huge plates. I don't know why a place of this calibre, and with the cost of drinks, can't afford to buy teapots or tea strainers. Worst experience ever... They also put too much tea in the filter for my taste. The last two times I have had tea here I have got stains on my sweater. Very sad.
Also the atmosphere is very nice here and it's cosy. I wish this place to improve, because I used to have a lot of business...
