After a long flight and having just arrived to Berlin with luggage in hand, I was super excited to try some seafood at this fish market. I spotted a bustling fish place “Unsere Schlemmer-ecke, which had a few side green tables and a main circular kitchen/open area where you stand around the counter and knew that this place was the spot to be. I found an empty seat and sat there patiently waiting for my order to be taken despite being super hungry. I wish I could say good things about this place, but unfortunately, despite waiting patiently for almost half an hour the entire 3 membered staff (one grey short hair glasses women, blonde and the cook) of this restaurant all REFUSED to service me. I was polite and waited more than 20 minutes to get their attention, yet they kept passing me with the occasional “ein moment aka one moment” only to never return back. I thought they were trying to service the other customers first before me, but soon learned that they didn’t want to service me at all and avoided me specifically probably because I am Asian and not German. Even the two Germans standing next to me (who were serviced properly) helped get the attention of the workers for me, yet the workers continued to ignore their requests as well since it didn’t relate to their orders. I am a bit disappointed in how such a supposedly growing and booming city can still be so...

This review is regarding the fish and chips.

Rogacki has lots of options to purchase meat and fish. I honestly found them quite expensive and just from the looks they weren't looking super promising, but maybe thats also due to their old interior that makes it look like a trashy market.

The food to eat is served in a cantine style, almost like Nordsee but better. Overall here are the pros of Rogacki: Its fast (cantine style) Its cheap (3,30 EUR/100g of grilled sea salmon) Its better tasting and better quality than Nordsee

Now here's what I didn't like besides the interior. The Remouladen sauces disappointed, regardless with you take it with or without the garlic. The sea lachs was rich in fish but the overall taste and freshness was not promising. Yes I got fish for a fair price but I didn't fully enjoyed it. The fish are fried, not in a nice fish and chips beer batter way but more thin-crusted. In short Quantity over...

This is a great to eat fried fish& potato salad you might find also some traditional German dishes in this market place - you can take away or you standing on a table together with many others during lunchtime. You can also sit on the small and special open kitchen to order the daily speciality for some higher price. Beside that you have a great variation of fresh fish, Matjes, smoked fish and other delicate salads together with a great fresh meat products and sausages Wurst. They have also a separate fresh chicken, goose, duck products.Notice the have a good variation of bread and cheese - altogether a great place to look around to see all those high quality products together with the atmosphere a place to visit if you like to find out more of how and where Berlin people like to go. Excellent place in Charlottenburg Open from 8...
