I’ve been a customer for years and had previously left a 5-star rating. So I’m very disappointed to have to share my extremely negative experience from today. I ordered a falafel halloumi sandwich. After mocking my accent (which I ignored in anticipation of the delicious food) and repeating the order twice, the guys behind the counter started preparing my sandwich. They didn’t ask me for sauce or salad preferences. Instead, they started conversing agitatedly in Arabic mentioning halloumi at least 10 times. Quickly handed me the sandwich and charged me for falafel halloumi. 10 min. later I ate it and found not a single slice of halloumi:( There is no way they could have forgotten to put it. My assumption is they were out of halloumi but didn’t bother to tell me, maybe thought I was a tourist who’s never coming back. Really, really sad. In a city with 100s of falafel places, it is the service that makes a difference. I’m never going back and telling all my friends to...
Read morei got the al amin teller delivered and WOWZA is this a generous portion for one person. the falafel was crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. all the meats were well seasoned and tender. the rice was tasty and fluffy. the halloumi was nice and salty, fried perfectly. the bread was okay. the roasted aubergine, courgette and carrot were phenomenal— i despise carrots but ate these with a smile 😋 hummus had a flavour i’m not used to but i liked it. the sauces it came with were great, the mangosoße was more like a paste and was the perfect contrast to this savoury dish. not the biggest fan of tahini but used every last drop of theirs 😋😋 the pickled radish, pepper, and cucumber also added a nice zing that balanced the dish. for €14 you can’t go wrong here, and they’ve got more budget friendly and smaller portion options too. i saw they offer a 2 person portion of this for an extra €11, but if you’re a lighter eater, you could feed two people with the...
Read moreThe restaurant is absolutely amazing. I got Falafel sandwich, and it was super tasty and yummy 😋. The sandwich was sooo big and well stuffed with recipes, fresh vegetables, and pickled banana pepper (I forgot to take a photo since I was hungry and it was sooo delicious ✨) Price is very reasonable and fair. Also, the staff are so warm, welcoming, and generous. They treat you one piece of Falafel until your order is ready to pick up. I truly liked the ambiance there (just warm, full of love, and high spirit); Hani Shaker songs take me back to the 1990s, as well 😅 Everything is incredibly authentic and genuine. I highly recommend this place to whoever wants to enjoy the original Palestinian Falafel recipe 👌 Also, it is recommended for Arab migrants who miss the warm and...
